Timothy Scott Wiles
August 19, 1970 - April 24, 2022
Tim Passed away peacefully on April 24th, surrounded by his loving family. He grew up in Northeast Minneapolis, and was a graduate of the Edison High School class of 1988. He loved playing softball, golfing, fishing, and bowling with his brothers and father. He was an avid sports fan, loved watching sports with friends and family, such as golf, and of course, the Vikings.
His great spirit and positivity touched many, and he brought laughter to all people surrounding him. He truly embraced the phrase “Smiles from Wiles” as many know, often posting in the morning “Good morning my beautiful people, have a great day.”
Not only was he a loving father, brother, and uncle, but also a caregiver. He took care of his father, and younger brother for many years, assisting them when needed, and was considered the cook of the household in recent years. He loved each and every one of his nieces, and never failed to tell them how proud he was of them. He was a loving godfather to his godson Peyton, who he would often boast about how he is just the “coolest kid in the world”. He will be greatly missed.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Jane Wiles, and grandson, Owen Woody Wiles. He is survived by his son, Jake (Hannah); father, Don; sister Joy Hanson (Tom); brothers, Jeremy (Ingrid) and Craig; nieces, Amber, Abigail, Freya; along with many loving relatives and friends.
