Steven Brandon Tiongson
November 10, 1983 - February 22, 2026
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Steven (Steve) Tiongson, who died on February 22nd at the age of 42 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
Steven was born on November 10, 1983 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Dario and Gloria Tiongson. He was a proud “Nordeaster” and a man of faith who selflessly gave of his time, talent, and treasure to anyone in need. He was an adventurer, an intelligent creative, a lifelong learner, a beloved friend, and a loving uncle.
He is survived by his parents Dario and Gloria, sister Laurie (Michael), nephews Gabriel and Dominic, and a number of his aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by grandparents Amelia Tiongson, Romeo Gavino, and Aurora Gavino.
Steve was known for his creativity and ingenuity, his generous heart, his infectious laugh and beaming smile, and incomparable sense of humor. Steve lived with reckless abandon and saw every new activity as an opportunity to learn and grow - meaning he excelled at a wide variety of things.
He impacted so many lives through coaching young archers at Bwana Archery, his volunteer efforts with SaveAFox, involvement in his church community, and sharing homemade meals with friends and loved ones. He was dependable and always wanted to see others succeed.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 6th at 11AM at Church of the Risen Savior in Burnsville, Minnesota. Visitation will begin at 10AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) Program at Bwana Archery or SaveAFox Rescue in Steve’s memory.
