Stanley J. Heath

Stanley J. Heath, born in Preston, ID on July 22, 1943 passed away on March 16, 2022 at the age of 78 after a brave battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by his brother Jeff.  Survived by his life-long companion and friend, Jo, sister Georgia, brothers Bob and Gary and his sons, Jon (Deanna), Chris (Laurie) and Russ (Brenda).  Stan also left a legacy of 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grand daughter.

In addition to being a great man, father and grandfather, Stan was a standout baseball player at Ben Lomond High School in Ogden, UT and enjoyed hunting in his younger days.  Stan’s true life-long passion was golf and music.  He never passed up the opportunity to imitate Elvis Presley, whether it was in front of hundreds of people or just himself and a mirror. Stan also loved bowling, billiards, his beloved Denver Broncos and of course, his favorite dogs; Katrina and Bentley.  He was also a master at Tetris on his Nintendo machine, something he spent quite a bit of time with into his final days.

A visitation will be held at the Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel, 2701 Central Ave. NE Minneapolis, MN 55418 on April 8th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2335 Edgerton St. Little Canada, MN 55117.  For those that are unable to attend Friday night’s visitation, you can pay your respects from 10 – 11 a.m. at the church. The funeral service will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.  Food and refreshments will be available following the funeral in the cultural hall of the church from 12:45 – 2:15 p.m.
