Rosetta Matthews

Rosetta Matthews passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 92. She was blessed with a wealth of
family and friends and will be remembered dearly. Rosetta is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph
Matthews, children Helen and Quincy, and three grandchildren. Rosetta is survived by her eight children
Joseph Matthews (Lori), Willie Matthews (Nell), Jimmy Matthews (Pamela), Rosetta Matthews, Milton
Matthews (Teresa), Jackie Matthews (Angela), Johnny Matthews (Karen), and Marvin Matthews
(Elizabeth), 29 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Memorial service
at Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel (2701 Central Avenue NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418) on January 20 th with
visitation at 10 am and funeral service at 1 pm, at Washburn-McReavy Crystal Lake Cemetery (3816
Penn Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55412). A luncheon at the New Hope Golf Course (8130 Bass Lake Rd,
New Hope, MN 55428) will follow the service.
