Ronald "Ron" Schutta

Schutta, Ronald "Ron" Age 72 of New Brighton passed away peacefully on 5/11/24 after a short battle with Leukemia. He is preceded in death by parents Robert and Phyllis of NE Minneapolis, survived by Son Brian and Daughter Erin (Nick), both of New Brighton, Grandchildren Summer and Ethan, brothers Gary of Blaine and Michael of Elmore, many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Graduate De La Salle HS (1969), Retired 40 year employee Cub/Jerry's Foods. Former owner Carbone's Pizza New Brighton, Bass Player for 60s/70s local group The Antics. Ron's favorite things were being Dad, Grandpa, and cooking for his family and friends. His kind heart touched the lives of many.

A gathering in honor of Ron's memory will be on Tuesday 5/14/2024, 4-7 PM at Billman-Hunt Chapel, 2701 Central Ave NE, Mpls. Funeral Service Wednesday 5/15/2024, 11AM with Visitation 10 AM at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 2739 Stinson Blvd NE, luncheon afterward at the church. Burial will follow at St John's Catholic Cemetery in New Brighton
