Zabinski, Roger A. age 73 of Saint Anthony, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on 2/27/2024. Roger grew up in Hibbing and Graduated from U of MN 1972 with a degree in Music History. Roger studied stringed instrument construction and specialized in violin bow making. He studied under Martin Beilke opening his own shop in the 1970’s. He is a member of several professional fraternities including EILA and the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers. Roger was a longtime parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and founding member of the Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Secular Carmelite Community. He and his wife Mary Ann lived and raised their family in Saint Anthony Village.
Preceded in death by parents Claude and Celine and his brother Donald.
Survived by his loving wife of 44 years Mary Ann; children Marie (Ryan) Pacyga, Anna (Sean) McGee, Father Joseph A. Zabinski, Monica (Alex) King; grandchildren Angelo, Vincent, Alessandra, Declan, Lawson, Vera, and Leona; 8 loving brothers and sisters; many nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.
Visitation Tuesday 3/5 starting at 4:00 PM with prayer service at 6:00 PM at Billman Hunt Chapel, 2701 Central Ave NE.
