Nuong Muirhead

Nuong Muirhead, age 45, departed this life on Friday, October 6th 2023 suddenly and unexpectedly while at home. Nikki was the 2nd born child to parents Dzung Mai and Phuong Mai on January 9th, 1978. 

She is survived by her parents Mr and Mrs Mai of Houston in Texas, her daughters, Elizabeth Loewen of Blaine, MN and Raina Muirhead of Maplewood, MN, her brother Alan Mai, her significant other Sam Roberson, Godson Derell Scott of Crystal MN, her chosen daughter Ashley Sloat, and so many more in her large chosen family.

Everyone who knew Nikki found her to be a very generous person, who was full of love for others, and a very unique soul. She was known as a second mother or an aunt or a grandmother to many. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and the people who called her family.

Memorial services will be held at Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel at 2701 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN on Wednesday October 18, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 pm.
