In loving memory of Michael George August 26, 1964 - December 29, 2024.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael. He was a devoted father, veteran, and friend to many who left us on December 29th 2024 at the age of 60.
Born on August 26th 1964, Michael grew up with a love for sports and had a passion to serve his country. At the age of 18 he served in the navy for 4 years, where he did clerical work. His devotion and dedication continued after an 18 year career at FedEx, where he worked for the veterans affairs for 20 years, with a drive to move up in the ranks.
Michael was passionate about sports with baseball holding a special place in his heart.
From the New York City sandlot ball to, the seniors league, he never gave up on what he loved. He used to join his son Mike Jr. in watching every game of his highschool recreational baseball leagues.
Michael and his daughter Chelsea both had a large interest in reading and going to Barnes and nobles to enjoy their hobby. Michael’s youngest child Sofia enjoyed singing karaoke together and swimming at the YMCA.
Michael will be greatly missed by his three children Michael, Chelsea, and Sofia as well as other family and friends. He will be remembered for his genuine, caring, and loving heart as well as his selfless nature for helping others.
