Michael Roy Anderson

Anderson, Michael Roy passed away on January 15, 2021 with family at his side. A father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, cousin, uncle, friend, teacher, mentor, and counselor to many, Mike was 72 years old. Mike was born to Chester and Lillian Anderson on December 1, 1948 in Philadelphia. The first of three children; he was later joined by sisters Judy Kennedy and Carol Ree. They grew up in Madison, MN. A graduate of Augustana University, Mike served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He would later serve in Korea and marry Wonja Yi. Mike and Wonja had three sons: Songsoo, Steve and Eric. Survived by sister: Judy Kennedy, her husband Neil, and her son Jim. Survived by sons: Songsoo Anderson, his spouse Tara, his daughters Isabelle (13) and Maya (6), Steve Anderson, his spouse Drucella, his children Amura, Emanuel, Wahnonce, and Anavey (15), his grandchildren Mahalo (5) and Ailani (8 months), and Eric Anderson, his fiancée Tulip, and his children Allison (8) and Carter (6). Survived by Wonja Yi and Ron Kamin. Preceded in death by parents Chester and Lillian, and sister Carol.
