Matthew Kowal

We are sad to announce the passing of Matthew Joseph Kowal, Age 53, of Andover, MN on Sunday, May 28, 2023. He went home to Jesus with his family by his side. Matt had a big heart and a wild spirit.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Matt loved his job as General Manager at Diamond Buick GMC in Alexandra.  Matt was a 1987 class graduate of Totino Grace HS.  He fought ALS for the past year with everything he had and was able to spend the last months with his family at home. He loved his family, friends, hunting, golfing, and fishing in that order.

Survived by Loving wife Lynn, Beloved sons Hunter and Wyatt, Parents Joe and Rita Kowal, Sister Leslie (Jay) Keto, Brother-in-law Gary Michalski (Gretchen), Rick Michalski (Lisa), Scott Michalski (Suzanne)

Funeral Mass Thursday June 8 11:00 AM with visitation 10:00 AM at St Stephens Catholic Church, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka

Burial Strickland WI at a later date.
