Matthew James Sletten

Matthew James Sletten passed away December 22, 2023.
He was born to David Paul Sletten and Kathy Kaye (Kampa) Sletten on December 7, 1987.
Matthew grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota and graduated from Stillwater Area High School in
2006.
Matthew and his younger sister Elizabeth (Sletten) Skoglund were Kathy and Dave's pride and
joy. The family enjoyed traveling and spending time at the family cottage in Wisconsin. Matthew
enjoyed playing soccer, golf, and hockey in high school.
After graduating high school, Matthew attended golf school in Florida. He worked in the golf
industry in Florida and Minnesota. 
Matthew enjoyed Minnesota Wild Hockey and the Green Bay Packers. He loved golfing with his
Dad, uncles Mark and Randy, and cousins Jeff and Anderson.  The family had an annual
Brother-in-Law Open at the cottage, with the winner receiving the coveted trophy.
Matthew is survived by his sister, Elizabeth (Sletten) Skoglund; brother in law, Michael
Skoglund; and niece Elin Croix Skoglund; maternal grandparents, Victor and Barbara
(Hatlestad) Kampa; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Matthew is preceded in death by his parents, David and Kathy Kaye (Kampa) Sletten; and
paternal grandparents, Paul and Phyllis (Nesseth) Sletten.
The family will have a private celebration of life.
