      It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Lou Burton, who died on June 9th, 2025, at the age of 83 in Chisago City, MN. Mary Lou was born on August 25, 1941, in Columbia Heights, MN to Norman & Ellen Miner. She was a devoted wife and mother, a beloved friend. She is survived by husband, Forrest (Burt) Burton, Daughter Kristy Koukal (Pat), Son Frosty Burton (Amy), 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great grandchildren and is preceded in death by Son Mark (Stoney) Burton, Daughter Jody Bean. 

      Mary Lou was known for her zest for life, friends to everyone she met and her love for a good party that has tequila. She had a dedication to her artistic hobbies, that include her stained-glass work and seed art that won her many awards from the MN State Fair. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 28th, 2025, at 11:00A.M. at Nativity Lutheran Church in St. Anthony. With a gathering one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia Foundation or The Alzheimer’s Association in Mary Lou’s memory. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
