Mallory "Mal" Pickens

Pickens, Mallory "Mal". age 83 of NE Minneapolis passed away on 2/3/2025. Preceded in death by parents Walter and Valborg; survived by loving wife of 41 years, Michelle “Mitzi”; children Kristi (Doug) Dixon, Leah “Becky” (Jeff) Meyer, Michael (Dawn), Ali (Mike) Pickens-Opoku, Erika “Riki” (Everett) Truedson; sister Linda (Nick) Paduano; serveral grandchildren; loving family and friends. He was an avid Ham Radio Operator, WAØSMX and AKØAA. He was a proud Vet who served in the 33rd US Army Band Europe. He was a dedicated volunteer with the Minneapolis Fire Dept Reserve for many years. 

His family is grateful to the STNU staff at HCMC for their compassionate care. Visitation Wednesday 2/12  5-7 PM at Billman-Hunt Chapel. Funeral Service Thursday 2/13 11  AM with gathering 1 hour prior at Billman-Hunt Chapel, 2701 Central Ave NE Mpls MN.
