Kim Skye Elizabeth Zeleznikar, 66, passed away June 20, 2023, after a month long fight to recover from a brain bleed. She was born on April 27, 1957, to John and Shirley (Norman) Zeleznikar.
Kim was known for being kind, selfless and full of good humor. There were many laughs to be had whenever she was around. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, baking, shopping, plants and, most of all, spending time with family and friends.
Kim was a proud alumnus of the Duluth Central Class of '75. She loved her job at the City of Duluth as building safety planner, retiring in 2015. Kim was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, John and Shirley, and by her infant brother, Gregory.
She is survived by her son, Adam (Jocelyn) Jagello; grandchildren Kylie, Huxley and Brexley Jagello; sister Terri (Bruce) Sabetti; brother John (Amy) Zelen; and nieces Brianna and Shelley Huot, and Betsy and Grace Zelen.
She will be missed dearly, but her memories will live on. We will hold a celebration of life for close family and friends at a later time.
