John Harold Kuharski

Kuharski, John H., age 81, of St. Anthony Village, passed away peacefully at home on April 2,
2023. Longtime employee and financial officer of Hennepin County. Co-founder and director of
PROLIFE Across AMERICA. Lifelong member of St. Charles Borromeo Church. Loved being
with family, golfing, classic cars, the cabin, and playing cards. His proudest achievement was
his big family.
Preceded in death by parents, Harold and Florence, and sister, Joan Melcher. Survived by
loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ann, and children Christine (Andrew) Klaesges, Tim (Tina)
Kuharski, Charles (Quy) Kuharski, Tina Weiss, Anthony Kuharski, Theresa Kuharski, Mary
(Brent) Urdahl, Angela (Adam) Johnson, Kari (Andrew) Domeyer, Michael (Allison) Kuharski,
Dominic Kuharski, and Fr. Joseph Kuharski. Proud grandpa of 33 grandchildren. Survived by
sister Terry (Oscar) Slinde, sister Mary (Bill) Kohlschmidt, and brother-in-law Jim Melcher, and
many loving relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian burial at St. Charles Borromeo on Weds. 4/12 at 11am, with visitation 10am.
Luncheon to follow. Night visitation Tues. 4/11, 5-7pm, with rosary at 6:30 at Billman Hunt
Chapel. Memorials preferred to St. Charles Borromeo School or PROLIFE Across AMERICA.
