Jeffery Moriarity

Jeffery James Moriarity, son of the late Robert and Toine Moriarity, passed away on May
28, 2026.
Jeff was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and served in the Peace Corps for
two years in Liberia, West Africa. It was there that he met his wife, Linda Arnold, who
was also a Peace Corps volunteer. Jeff had a long career as a software engineer,
spanning several decades at MTS.
An accomplished athlete, Jeff excelled in track during high school and maintained a
lifelong passion for golf. He spent many winters in Arizona enjoying the game with his
close friends.
As a friendly neighbor, Jeff became an adopted grandfather to the Ramsey girls next
door. His quiet kindness and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jeff is survived by his brothers, Shane and Jeremy (Connie); his sister-in-law, Kathleen,
his nieces, Carrie Moriarity and Eileen McCarthy; and a close circle of friends. He was
predeceased by his wife, Linda, and his brother, Michael.
