Jay E Troupe

Troupe, Jay E., age 82, of SE Mpls, passed away January 16, 2026, after a life well lived & loved. Jay loved with all of his heart. He worked hard for his family, including 40 years at the University of MN. He enjoyed being with family, traveling, & was an avid Coca-Cola collector. Jay was a proud dad, grandpa, & veteran.
Preceded in death by wife Nancy; parents Earle and Catherine; & siblings Mary &  Ellen. Survived by son Troy (Ryan); grandsons Cullen & Crosby; siblings Patricia (Jack) Ringle, Bruce (Tamara), Don (Margie), Eileen McConoughey, Karolyn (Dan) Primoli, and John (Sara) Troupe; brother-in-law Bart (Gail) Ives; & sister-in-law Sandy Evenson, along with many nieces, nephews, family, & friends.
Jay’s memory & legacy will live through all who knew him. He will continue to guide us & will be truly missed.
Memorial services are planned for Wednesday, February 11, 2026, viewing at 11 AM, service at 12 PM, at Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel, 2701 Central Ave NE, Mpls, MN 55418. 612-789-3535. Followed by services at Fort Snelling at 2 PM.
