Harriet Ann Odash, age 92, passed away peacefully January 28, 2026. She is survived by her children, Michael (Sara) Odash, Nancy (Mark) Mehrer, and Richard (Cindy) Odash; grandchildren, Philip, Matthew and Anna; as well as five great grandchildren and one sister, Ione Huehn. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 62 years, Robert, and her brother, LaVerne. Born in Rice Lake, WI to Erick and Jennie Fossum, she met and married Robert while working as a telephone operator. After the birth of her children, the family made their way to New Brighton, MN, where she worked as a homemaker and where she found joy in gardening, golfing, travelling and baking. She was well known for her cakes and talented cake decorating. Harriet also loved her late in life career, food sampling, which allowed her to see many old friends and make many new ones. What brought her the biggest joy of her life was her church, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton. She was a parishioner there for over 60 years and spent countless hours volunteering whenever and wherever she was needed.
Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton, MN on February 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Luncheon to follow. Interment at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
