Gertrude Catherine Schroer

--Schroer, Gertrude “Gert” age 80 of St. Louis Park, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on December 14, 2022.  Graduate of St. Margaret’s H.S. class of 1960 and College of St. Catherine’s 1964 with a degree in nursing.  Gert worked as a Pediatric Nurse at St. Joseph’s hospital in St. Paul.  Married John T. Krawczyk Sr. in 1966 and raised their family together in New Brighton.

Preceded in death by parents, Edwin and Margaret Maus, husbands, John T. Krawczyk and Robert A. Schroer;

Survived by children, John Jr. (Paulette) Krawczyk, Kelly Krawczyk, Kerry (Ed) LeMieux, Nick (Nicki) Krawczyk; grandchildren, Maggie, Johnny, John E., Stellie, Wally, and Keira; siblings, Marilyn (Larry) Anthony, Tom Maus, Mary Beth Meyer, Patty (Richard) Schletty, Peg (Glenn) Christian; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, January 4th at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church (6 Interlachen Rd) Hopkins 55343.  Visitation at 1:00 followed by funeral at 2:00. Burial St. John’s Cemetery, New Brighton.  Billmanhunt.com 612-789-3535
