Fredrick Roger Contreras

Fredrick Roger Contreras was born March 16th, 1955. He passed away February 18th, 2020. He is proceeded in death by his father, Joseph Contreras, his mother Helen Contreras, and his brothers Frank, Bob, and Louie. He is survived by sisters Teddy(Jim), Lucy and his other brothers Joe(Melanie), and Charlie. His daughters Desiree and Belinda Contreras. His grandchildren Trinity, Selena, and Ravon Jr. Lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, and long time friends. Fred was not only a great father, but an all around great guy. He was always willing to help others, especially family when needed. He loved his family and, he was as sweet as pie but could be a mean stern man when provoked and/or protective. His daughters were his world and he was there for them the best he could be. He was present for all of his grandchildren's birth. Fred loved to fish, watch football(Vikings was his favorite team), listen to his music, eagles, and most of all enjoy sleeping. Although we are all very devastated by the death of Fred, we take comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain, sick or tired. He is now soaring high with other loved ones who has passed before him. We may not be able to see him physically but spiritually and he will always remain in our hearts. You'll never be forgotten Fred and you will be loved and missed by many. May you rest in eternal peace and watch over and protect your loved ones here on earth especially those grandkids of yours, shield and protect them from any harm that may come their way. Rest In Paradise Fred, you will be forever missed.
Funeral will be held Wednesday, February 26th. Visitation is at 10am and service is at 11am. It'll be at Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel 2701 Central Ave NE Mpls, MN 55418.
