Eugene Leo Layeux

Eugene Leo Layeux, age 87, passed away on November 26, 2025.
Born April 4, 1938, to Leo and Aurelia Layeux, Eugene lived a life full of love, laughter, and craftsmanship. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rita, and his son, Paul.

Eugene is survived by his children: Mark, Daniel, and Denise Rush (Jim); his grandchildren; and his great-grandchildren.

Known for his warm heart and remarkable skills, Eugene could build anything and took pride in creating and fixing with his hands. He loved playing cribbage, camping, and spending time in the great outdoors. His life was a testament to hard work, family devotion, and simple joys.

Private family services and burial will be held. Eugene will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
