Deborah A. “Debbie” Finkenbinder (née Eidsor), age 71, of Brooklyn Center, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026.
A graduate of North Central Bible College, Debbie devoted much of her life to caring for children through her home daycare, where she loved and nurtured generations of families. She faithfully served in children’s ministry at Brookdale Christian Center AG for many years and found great joy in sharing the love of Jesus with little ones.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Stephen Haley Finkenbinder; daughters Rachel Marocco, Joanna (Benjamin) Brooks, and Sarah (Joshua) Cordero; grandchildren Naomi and Felix Marocco, Joseph and Rebekah Brooks, and Judah and Joelle Cordero; brother Timothy (Beth) Eidsor; sisters Pamela Thompson and Kristina Hunt; nieces, nephews, relatives, and many dear friends, including Terra (Russ) Hughes and their children, Eliana and Aurora.
Debbie will be remembered for her joyful generosity, her lifelong service to others, and her faithful devotion to Jesus Christ.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 14, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Brookdale Christian Center AG, 6030 Xerxes Ave. N., Brooklyn Center, MN 55430.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 15, at 10:30 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m., also at Brookdale Christian Center AG.
