David Lee Kudzia

Kudzia, David Lee, age 75, passed away unexpectedly at Abbott
Northwestern Hospital on Monday, January 6th, 2025. A lifelong resident
of "Nordeast" Minneapolis, MN, David never ventured far from his
childhood home on Lincoln St. He attended Immaculate Conception Catholic
School through 8th grade and graduated from Edison High School in 1967.

After a few odd jobs, he jumped into commercial construction, eventually
starting his own company, Form-Alot in the late 70s. Working non-stop
for many years, David left his mark in many familiar places around the
Twin Cities, constructing parts of Canterbury Downs, the Metrodome,
Hyland Hills Ski Jump, the Mall of America, Valleyfair and Fort McCoy, WI.

David had a plethora of hobbies and interests, including sports, culture
and traveling. A passionate horse lover, visiting Churchill Downs for
the Kentucky Derby was one of his favorites. An enthusiastic hockey and
broomball player during his younger days, golfing with his buddies came
in the later years. In-between there were rodeos, IndyCar races, classic
car shows, Wild hockey, Timberwolves basketball, Twin and St. Paul
Saints baseball games, greyhound dog racing, theater, plays, concerts
and more. His travels were far and wide with visits to places including
London, Paris, Iceland, China, Cuba, Mexico, the Caribbean Islands,
Jamaica and a number of other locations.

A passionate caretaker of both his pets and those in his life, David was
always there for anyone in need. He loved sharing his vast knowledge of
many different subjects as well as his everlasting sense of humor.

Preceded in death by parents Julius and Lorraine, survived by loving and
devoted partner Kim, son Michael, extended family including Aunt Diane &
Ron Ranallo, many cousins and others.
