Carol Marion Green (Larson) born to Mary and LeRoy Larson in Minneapolis, MN 12/09/1925 died 4/23/25. 99 years old. Graduated from Edison high.
Preceded in death by husband Lee Green, sons Mike and Chris. Survived by 3 children - Pat Kurth, Mark Green(Connie), Colleen Shaw. 5 grandchildren - Shawn(Shann), Chelsea, Jason, Christy(Matt) and Brian(Roxy). 10 Great grandchildren - Dylan and Haley(Justin), Tanner and Ty, Will and Maddy, Emmy and Logan, Parker and Braiden.
Carol was interested in all current events and voiced her opinion after reading the paper and watching the TV news. She loved to read books shared by her sister Judy(John). Always interested in the kids activities and celebrated all their achievements in gymnastics, dance, baseball, soccer, hockey, wrestling and chess. She was so happy to see the older kids grown up into their careers.
She lived through the depression, WW2, landing on the moon, many wars and catastrophes. After that she was a stay at home mom for 5 children and continued spending all her time
enjoying the grandkids. Thank goodness we had her as our mom and grandmother to give us love and leadership, to make us feel safe and important in all that we do. We will miss playing bingo with her on Christmas. She brought the joy.
It took the last part of 99 years to finally wear out, but still had the mind of a very young person remembering small details and stories over the years.
Love you mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend!
