Benjamin Scott Hoffstrom

Benjamin Scott Hoffstrom, Age 47, of Brooklyn Park, MN, passed away suddenly on July 7th, 2024. Born December 8th, 1977, Ben was the middle of three brothers; raised in North Minneapolis, MN; graduated from Patrick Henry High School. When he was younger, he loved playing baseball/softball with his brothers Nick and Sam. He also enjoyed cars, camping, fishing, boating and almost any other outdoor activities. He had many creative hobbies as he got older. Ben loved his children and was a very proud father. 

Ben was preceded in death by his younger brother Samuel Hoffstrom, grandmother Mildred Nyberg, grandmother Jeanne Hoffstrom, cousin Ted Hoffstrom, aunt Delayne Strand, uncle Todd Hoffstrom and many other friends and family.

  He was survived by his children Dominic, 25 (Mother Jennifer), Jayna, 19 (Mother Jennifer), & Amar, 5 (Mother Hannan); parents Scott & Lavonne Hoffstrom; older brother Nick & his wife Rhoda Hoffstrom; nieces, Hannah Hoffstrom 20 & Ashlyn Hoffstrom 13, Tess Impola 19, brother by love Ray Impola and so many more.  

A memorial service honoring Benjamin will be held on July 15th, 2024 at Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel located at 2701 Central AVE NE, Minneapolis MN, 55418. Visitation will begin at 1:00PM, with a service starting at 2:00PM. 

While our hearts mourn the loss of our beloved Benjamin, we take comfort in knowing he is finally at peace. His uninhibited self will always remain in our memories. Although Benjamin is no longer with us we will always remember him in our minds and in our heart, as Ben would say and hope for us all to have an AWESOME HOSSUM DAY!
