Marquise Ameer Young, Jr., affectionately called "Ameer," passed away unexpectedly at his home in Minneapolis on Monday, July 9, 2018. Ameer was 2 months and 21 days old.
Ameer was an angel to his family. He was happy, playful, loving, strong, curious, and a joy to his parents. Although Ameer was only 2 months old, he enjoyed music. He would smile and lift his hands as if he were dancing. Two of his favorite songs were "Boo'ed Up" and "Block Party." Ameer was loved by all of his family, even members that had not met him yet.
Ameer is survived by his loving parents, Marquise E. Young and Terryaiona S. Young; maternal grandparents: Tyressa Parker, Melvin Reine, Conswella Smith, and his great-grandmother, Linda (Darryl) Gibson; paternal grandmother, Janice Young "GranGran"; five aunts and six uncles and a host of family and friends.
Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20th at Shiloh Temple International Ministries with visitation one hour prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Mound Cemetery.
