Julie Ann (Svoboda) Metcalf, of Minneapolis, MN passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN. She was 52 years old.

Julie was born on April 25, 1965 in Minneapolis, MN. She was raised in the Minneapolis area and attended school there. Most of Julie’s working life was with G & K Services where she worked as an Account Specialist Manager for over twenty years. In January of 1991, Julie was introduced to David L. Metcalf and the couple was married on May 18th of that year.

Julie was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly.   She enjoyed any kind of outdoor activity and also liked to deer hunt, go ice fishing and crappie fishing.

Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Weselenak; brothers, Kenneth Svoboda and Steve Weselenak Jr.; sisters, Kimberly Svoboda and Linda Weselenak.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Dave; four children: Christy Stevens, Crystal Metcalf, Matt Stevens, all of Minneapolis, MN, and Josh (Katrina) Metcalf of Valdosta, GA; three grandchildren, Peyton, Sanyia, and Savone; father, Steve Weselenak of Minneapolis, MN; siblings: Tammy (Tom) Morgan, Daphene (Dan) Glynn, Donna (Rich) Esko, Travis (Mary) Svoboda, Michelle Svoboda, Carl Weselenak, Adam Weselenak, David Weselenak; many nieces and nephews; other loving family and freinds.

Graveside Service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12th, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward. There will be a time of gathering at the Hayward Wesleyan Church following the service.

Celebration of Life & Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15th at Billman~Hunt Funeral Chapel with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
