Jani and I were so saddened to learn of John's passing, especially since it was literally on the heels of Jackies's repose!
John was always a kind man and a good neighbor...in the most "Nordeast Minneapolis" sense. Although my younger siblings were more the ages of John's kids, I still remember hanging out in the backyard playhouse, picking apples from the tree, being surrounded by deluge of dogs, and visiting Jeff in the hospital after his surgery.
I still have the set of Twins Baseball Players that he/his company lithographed for Super value Grocery Store - and I'll never forget the clock he refurbished and gave to me to be raffled off at my first parish in Clayton, WI .
May God grant the newly departed servant of God, John, his just rewards in God's Kingdom and bestow solace upon the family to assuage their grief and mourning of his passing. May the Kingdom of Heaven be his! May his Memory be Eternal!
