John Alvin Schumacher, of Northeast Minneapolis, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 67 years old.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and Irwin; and his sister, Dorothy Fry.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, Rose; his son, John; his daughter, Julie (Gary) Gronquist; siblings; many other loving family and friends.

John loved baseball, Jeopardy, and the great outdoors.

Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28th at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the church atrium. Private family inurnment at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis.
