John B. Brostrom, age 91, lifelong resident of St. Anthony Village, passed away on May 13, 2017 and is now reunited again with the love of his life, his wife, Muriel.

Graduate of Edison High School Class of 1942; proud Army Air Corp WWII Vet, serving in Guam. After the war, he married Muriel on May 21, 1948. John worked for Kraus-Anderson Construction Co. for over 41 years as a General Supt, and was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners for almost 70 years. He also served on the apprenticeship committee. Charter member of the St. Anthony Village volunteer Fire Department. Dedicated family man who loved spending time hunting, fishing and relaxing at the lake. John was also a private pilot.

Preceded in death by his wife, Muriel; brother, Donald.

Survived by daughter, Kathryn Brostrom; sons, David (Cindy), Rick (Lisa) and Ron (Carol); 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Beverly Brostrom.

Visitation 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17th at Billman~Hunt Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 18th at Sunset Funeral Chapel with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Sunset Cemetery.
