James A. Stockinger
July 14, 1964 ~ June 8, 2017 (age 52) 52 Years OldJames "Jim/Hambone" Stockinger,
of New Brighton, MN, age 52, died suddenly of a brain aneurysm. Jim had the biggest heart and loved all activities outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and spent a lifetime with family and friends pursuing these passions. Jim enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews celebrating all of their accomplishments. He attended St. Charles School and was an Edison High School graduate. Following graduation, he pursued a career in the facilities sector.
A profound loss is felt by his family. Survived by parents, Kathleen and Roger Stockinger; siblings: Mary Kay (Jeff) Wagner, Susan (Robert) Jensen, Judy (Bob) Flett, and Michael (Heather); nieces and nephews: Grace and John Wagner, Claire, Kyle and Erin Jensen, Allison and Joe Flett, and Laura and Henry Stockinger.
In keeping with Jim's kind and generous spirit, it was his wish to give with the gift of life through organ donation.
Visitation 5:00 ~ 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14th at Billman-Hunt Funeral Chapel with Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 15th at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to services in the church atrium. Private family interment.
Memorials will be shared with several organizations that support youth and outdoor activities.
