Rossi - Gerald

It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to our dear brother, uncle and friend Gerry who died peacefully at Our Lady of Peace Hospice. Gerry lived a long and energetic life in Greenwich Village, NY​,​ where he was assistant curator at NYU library. Gerry was a wordsmith and a lover of language, classical music and architecture. Logging thousands of miles over his lifetime walking the neighborhoods of Manhattan, alone or with his loved ones​,​ he was always an exceptional storyteller and educator.

He is survived by his sisters, Marie Rossi, Rose Pearo, Gloria Czerepak (Walter); brother, Don Rossi (Marilyn) and a wealth of family and friends who will hold him in their hearts forever. 

Gerry will be laid to rest with his twin brother Gene Rossi at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with full honors in a private family burial. 

Services for family and friends will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 16th at Billman~Hunt Funeral Chapel.
