Takara Chanel Kirkwood, age 27, residing in Mesquite, TX, passed away on April 26, 2017 from injuries sustained from a car accident in Dallas, TX.

Takara was born on December 03, 1989 in St. Paul, MN.  Takara worked in Frisco, TX at T-Mobile in their Technical Phone Support Department.  Takara Graduated from Lakeville High School in Garland, TX and was in the process of completing a Degree in IT.

Takara is survived by her fiancé, Ladarrian (LP) Pendergrass; sons, Josiah, Liam and Ethan Pendergrass; mother, Tieria Kemp; father, Christopher Kirkwood Sr. (Elizabeth); paternal grandmother, Michelle Kelly (Jim); paternal grandfather, Melvin Kirkwood Jr.; siblings: Savonte Kemp Vandasser (Darliza), Whitney Smetana,  Tajah Kemp Vandasser, Christopher Kirkwood Jr.,  Angelo Kirkwood,  Jhasmine Kirkwood, Victoria Kirkwood, Emmanuel Kirkwood, Jayda Lee Kirkwood, Cherelle Dozier and William Norris, nieces, aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins.

Takara will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, her caring and loving heart and her positive outlook on life.
