Stanley C. Borys, of Shoreview, formerly of St. Anthony Village, passed away on May 28, 2017. He was 94 years old.

Stanley was an Edison High School graduate Class of 1942 and NDSU Mechanical Engineering Class of 1953. He was a proud WWII Navy Vet. He gave his family his love of Minnesota sports, Easter borscht, polka, good story telling, fishing, golfing and the cabin.

Stanley was preceded in death by sisters, Mary LeVoir and Emily Benzinger.

He is survived by loving wife of 65 years, Irene A.; children, David, Doug (Eva), Daniel, Dale (Colleen), Rita (Steve) Arndorfer, Janice Borys, Lisa (Eric) Jensen; 19 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31st at Billman~Hunt Funeral Chapel with Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 1st at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church in Lino Lakes with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment at St. John The Baptist Cemetery in New Brighton.
