I never knew the name of this wonderful man until his passing, but if someone had asked if I knew or or heard of the guy who was the greeter at our WalMart, and described him, I would have readily said yes, because he was a fixture at the store. Rain or shine, you were assured by his friendly smile, even if he had to stop you to check a receipt or give candy to a child. He was, for all practical purposes, the life and breath of the store and it is painful to know that we will never see him again. Still, his smile and his gentle way of dealing with customers and people in general, lives on. No one can fill those shoes! Rest in Heaven Mr. Davis! From the Silas-Carson family...Brooklyn Park MN
